Romany Bowen is a degree qualified Clinical Myotherapist, graduating from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in 2008 with a Bachelor of Health Science. She has a fierce passion for health and wellbeing with a particular interest in managing and rehabilitating sports injuries.
In addition to soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release and joint mobilisation, Romany is also qualified to practise dry needling and exercise prescription.
Romany has vast experience across the allied health industry including professional sports teams (Richmond Football Club, Melbourne Tigers Basketball Team and Mandurah Soccer Club). She has had extensive experience treating everyday aches and pains at clinics in Melbourne and Perth and has also worked in the Western Australian mining industry as an onsite ergonomics and injury prevention practitioner. In addition to Myotherapy, Romany is also a Stott Pilates instructor and Sports Therapist.
Romany’s main goal as a practitioner is to empower her clients to become proactive about their treatment and general welfare of their own bodies.
