Lee is a registered Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine herbalist and Remedial massage therapist. She has completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Traditional Chinese Medicine) from SSNT and a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics (Monash University). Lee is also a qualified Yoga instructor.
With a diverse range of experience and knowledge spanning both Western and Eastern Medicine, Lee believes that the best outcomes can be achieved by combining these systems. She has a compassionate and positive approach and aims to create a unique treatment for each person by placing an emphasis on understanding each patient’s needs and expectations.
A treatment with Lee may include acupuncture, massage, cupping, dry needling or electro-acupuncture. Herbal medicine may also be prescribed. Diet therapy or breathing exercises may also form a part of your treatment. Lee has a special interest in pain, musculoskeletal injuries (acute and chronic), digestive dysfunction, depression and anxiety, and skin disorders. Lee also enjoys treating women during their pregnancy for issues such as lower back pain, swelling, nausea and headaches.
Ensuring that each patient understands and manages their condition through further education, exercise, diet and lifestyle changes are imperative aspects to treatment and will be addressed in due course.
Lee loves working with the MOSIC team to combine the modalities of Osteopathy and Pilates where required. She believes a multi-modality approach to treatment leads to greater efficacy and improved results.
As a mother, Lee understands the demands that parenthood places on the body, mind and spirit and incorporates this experience into her practice. Lee’s open heart and compassionate approach inspires all those she works with to empower themselves to heal and achieve their goals.
