B.App.Sci (Clinical Sciences), M.H.SC (Osteopathy)

Dr Emma Fitzgerald graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University in 2012. After finishing her studies, Emma opted for a sea change and moved to the Bellerine Peninsula where she worked at clinics in Drysdale and Belmont. Now enjoying life in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, she is excited to be practising in the city.

Emma uses a whole body approach to client treatment and management. She is a strong believer in finding and treating the cause of the problem, not just the symptoms. Emma uses a wide variety of osteopathic techniques, which are personalised to each patient and their unique presentation.

Emma is committed to continual learning and upskilling, having undertaken courses in chronic pain, treating pregnant women as well as numerous courses on movement, function and biomechanics. Her passion for education has also led her to undertake a Masters in Teaching at Melbourne University. She also works part time as a clinical supervisor for students studying their Masters in Osteopathy at Victoria University.

Educating patients about their injuries, health and wellbeing is of great importance to Emma as this ensures clients leave their treatment with  understanding, knowledge and confidence in their treatment plan.

Emma is a registered practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
