PHYSIOTHERAPIST & Pilates Instructor
Pilates helps people get back to the activities they love and makes them feel great again.
Andrew graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and has recently moved to Melbourne from Scotland. He has gained extensive experience working in many different clinical areas including neurology, respiratory, orthopaedics, sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Andrew’s enthusiasm for physiotherapy was inspired by the high standard of treatment he received for injuries during his teenage years as a competitive cyclist. He has a real passion for getting people back to the activities that they love and teaching them how to prevent issues from recurring in the future.
Always looking for opportunities to expand his skill set, Andrew has completed a number of courses including clinical pilates and functional strength training, which he includes in his treatment sessions whenever possible. He believes in a client centred approach, combining hands-on treatment with exercise prescription to achieve the best results.
Andrew has a particular interest in treating neck and low back pain, shoulder conditions and lower limb tendon problems. He is skilled in manual therapy, dry needling, biomechanical assessment and the management of persistent pain. His strength lies in identifying the reason behind pain and what can be done to help his clients feel great again.
Outside of work, Andrew practises what he preaches by getting out on the bike and exploring the outdoors whenever possible. He also enjoys travelling, good coffee and discovering Melbourne’s bars and restaurants!
